Minimum amount

So we can cover the cost of insured postage, testing and payment, we buy items by post when they come to £100 or more in total. This is worked out from our price on the day we test them.

As a guide, £100 is about:

• 1.5 grams of 18ct gold
• 3 grams of 9ct gold
• 100 grams of sterling silver

If your items come to less than £100

We will contact you before doing anything, and you can choose to:

1. Sell anyway: we pay our price, less a £10 handling charge.
2. Have them sent back: we return your items by Royal Mail Special Delivery for £10, paid before we post them.

If we haven’t heard from you within 30 days, we will try to contact you again before deciding what to do next.

If you turn down our offer

If your items come to £100 or more and you decide not to sell, we will send them back to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge.

Items must be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery ONLY, insured for the value of your items. Do not use first or second class post, recorded or signed-for post, or any other courier. The cost of posting to us is yours. Please do not send items to our head office in Covent Garden, because it cannot accept post.
